About the role
- BC-ABA needs throughout Delaware County, PA.
- BC-ABA clinicians may work during school, after-school, and evening hours depending on County program needs.
- Flexible scheduling for work/life balance!
- Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders.
- Provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills for school, home & community settings.
- Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school.
- Train the Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).
- Manage cases typically authorized 2-3 hours per week per client and build a caseload of multiple clients.
- Independent contract position and member of an interdisciplinary clinical team.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Must have ABA coursework related to behavior theories, protocols, techniques
- Demonstrated work experience with children with ASD
- Supervisory experience - preferred
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (within 12 months)
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (within 12 months)
- FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738 (within 12 months)
- TB screening - current within 3 months
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Behavior Specialist License - license must be active (must have active BSL)
