About the role

  • Assess clients' needs and create treatment plans
  • Develop programs and monitor their implementation
  • Work with clients in their homes, at their schools, and in their communities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans – lead meetings, complete necessary assessments, and submit required documents
  • Collaborate with families, care managers, physicians, specialists, and case managers with regular communication
  • Train and monitor BHT, LBT/MDTA, and EBS staff; provide performance feedback
  • Assess and monitor BHT performance to refine ABA understanding and use of tactics and principles
  • Collaborate internally and externally with clients and teammates; provide updates between HR and BHT supervisors
  • Train Department members and other staff through BCBA Fieldwork and internship activities
  • Provide training to Vista employees and stakeholders on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology or similar Human Services field
  • Behavior Specialist Licensure
  • Successful completion of Vista's crisis intervention training
  • Knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills – ability to train and coach other staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • First Aid and CPR Training – highly desired (not required)
