About the role
- Assess clients' needs and create treatment plans
- Develop programs and monitor their implementation
- Work with clients in their homes, at their schools, and in their communities
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans – lead meetings, complete necessary assessments, and submit required documents
- Collaborate with families, care managers, physicians, specialists, and case managers with regular communication
- Train and monitor BHT, LBT/MDTA, and EBS staff; provide performance feedback
- Assess and monitor BHT performance to refine ABA understanding and use of tactics and principles
- Collaborate internally and externally with clients and teammates; provide updates between HR and BHT supervisors
- Train Department members and other staff through BCBA Fieldwork and internship activities
- Provide training to Vista employees and stakeholders on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology or similar Human Services field
- Behavior Specialist Licensure
- Successful completion of Vista's crisis intervention training
- Knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills – ability to train and coach other staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- First Aid and CPR Training – highly desired (not required)
