About the role
- Lead and support a team of Workers’ Compensation professionals
- Assign, review, and supervise all claims to ensure compliance with corporate standards and client-specific instructions
- Conduct performance evaluations, set developmental goals, and guide staff growth
- Maintain a small caseload of WC claims to ensure ongoing technical expertise
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate standards, statutes, and client guidelines
- Attend hearings, mediations, and legal conferences as needed
Requirements
- Mississippi Adjuster’s License (required)
- Bachelor’s degree OR 15+ years of claims experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in Workers’ Compensation
- Strong, demonstrated expertise in Mississippi WC law and claim handling
- Experience handling claims from first report to closure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
