About the role
- Assist in the development and management of the commercial policy pipeline, actively managing Cboe's competitive positioning by analyzing volume trends, customer usage patterns, and trading behavior.
- Quantify the impact of proposed fee changes, model commercial policy scenarios, and generate creative ideas to optimize revenue and market quality.
- Identify new business opportunities and initiate dialogue with clients and internal partners by delivering targeted one-off and strategic analyses.
- Provide regular updates on pricing initiatives, forecasts, and key performance metrics to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Manage internal processes related to pricing changes, coordinating across cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Assess the effectiveness and market impact of new products and functionality, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement processes that deliver client-centric solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes to proactively anticipate market opportunities and potential challenges.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in US equity or options market structure
- Expertise in data modeling, statistics, and analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python and Sigma
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical analysis clearly to business audiences and senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Innovative problem-solving mindset with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and develop pragmatic solutions
- Established network and influence within target financial institutions (preferred)
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, financial engineering, data science, or a related quantitative field (minimum)
