About the role
- Lead the design and development of Cavallo’s internal and external training programs, including onboarding, product education, industry training, and role-based learning paths.
- Partner with functional and Segment leaders to translate subject-matter expertise into structured, engaging, and scalable training content.
- Establish best practices and standards for instructional design, course structure, and learning delivery across the organization.
- Develop a comprehensive training framework that supports employees, partners, and customers through multiple learning formats (self-paced courses, live sessions, documentation, and interactive learning experiences).
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure the right stakeholders contribute to course development and training initiatives.
- Manage training development projects from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
- Implement learning methodologies that reflect how people learn most effectively, incorporating modern approaches to adult learning and knowledge retention.
- Continuously refine and improve training programs based on feedback, adoption metrics, and evolving business needs.
- Help scale enablement efforts across the organization by creating repeatable processes for training development and delivery.
- Support the rollout and ongoing management of Cavallo’s learning and enablement initiatives across teams and external audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, enablement, or training program development.
- Demonstrated experience designing structured learning programs and curricula for professional or technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles.
- Experience collaborating with subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams to develop training content.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and initiatives.
- Experience developing training across multiple formats, such as e-learning courses, instructor-led training, documentation, and multimedia learning content.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and translate them into clear, engaging learning experiences.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience with SaaS, technology products, or enablement programs is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where programs are continuously evolving.
