About the role
- Lead process improvements to deliver world class quality and efficiency for Engines, Gensets and Power Modules.
- Manage planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling.
- Research process performance data to identify and implement improvements to yield, runtime, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, process design and support personnel.
- Provide ongoing support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshoot technically challenging production problems.
- Plan, guide and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with organizational standards, procedures and policies.
- Oversee capacity planning, project management and resource allocation to meet production demand.
- Drive continuous transformation, automation implementations, and cross-functional collaboration to improve competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Technical/Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
- Requires 5 days onsite attendance in Griffin, GA.
- Demonstrated experience leading or implementing manufacturing process changes that improve efficiency, including automation.
- Experience as a leader of leaders (management of managers).
- Experience at a product-producing manufacturing facility or organization.
- Extensive knowledge of major functional manufacturing processes and operating requirements.
- Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to lead and influence teams.
- Extensive knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety, standards, procedures and policies.
- Experience with capacity planning and production demand management.
- Extensive knowledge of project management strategies and tactics.
- Ability to troubleshoot technically challenging production problems and provide ongoing support.
