About the role
- Gather and analyze data from various eCommerce platforms and sources to provide comprehensive insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics.
- Partner with business leaders and teams to identify their data needs and deliver actionable insights to support their goals.
- Utilize statistical methods and data mining techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in eCommerce data.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of eCommerce strategies and initiatives, suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance data analysis practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field OR equivalent working experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Snowflake, SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and pay attention to detail.
- Driven in analytical thinking, anticipating the next question that will get asked by leaders regarding his/her insight results.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with eCommerce tracking platforms (e.g., Google or Adobe analytics).
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and data modeling.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
