About the role

  • Provide direct support to the Company’s Pharma & Consumer Health business
  • Draft, review, analyze, structure and negotiate various agreements
  • Advise regional personnel on compliance policies and contract matters
  • Assist in merger and acquisition activity and corporate governance activity
  • Provide general advice to senior management on a day-to-day basis
  • Offer informed cost-benefit analysis when identifying risks
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business and its competitive landscape
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of transactional/commercial law experience with a combination of large law firms and/or in-house pharmaceutical experience
  • A record of outstanding academic achievement at the university and professional training levels
  • Solid judgment in determining the significance of legal matters and effectively measuring and mitigating risks
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex legal issues for diverse clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility
  • Ability to independently manage numerous projects to favorable resolution or conclusion
  • High level of integrity of confidential and sensitive information
