About the role

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and executives at assigned client accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Lead the renewal process for existing contracts, ensuring high retention rates and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to ensure client success and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver regular business reviews (QBRs) and strategic account plans.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all inbound leads, including demo requests, trial notifications, and other inquiries generated by marketing activities.
  • Promptly engage with and qualify incoming leads to assess their needs and determine their fit with our solutions.
  • Articulate the core value proposition of our platform and conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect requirements.
  • Work closely with the wider sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities for further development.

Requirements

  • Must-Have: A strong background and understanding of analytics, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), or location intelligence technologies and concepts.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of verifiable experience in a client-facing role such as Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, preferably within the software or data analytics industry.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Language: Fluency in at least one additional language relevant to the APAC region is required.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: A proven ability to build rapport, establish trust, and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally cover extended work hours to accommodate early morning or late evening meetings with a global team.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30-40% for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
  • Attributes: You are a proactive, organized, and results-oriented individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
