About the role

  • Design and maintain website content templates and pages within WordPress and proprietary tools.
  • Create reusable, modular block patterns and content sections optimized for clarity, responsiveness, and conversion across various lead types.
  • Maximize conversion rates, Core Web Vitals performance, and SEO rankings for platform members.
  • Design content with empathy for customers (real estate investors) and their leads (homeowners, sellers, buyers).
  • Develop content assets and messaging templates for platform-wide reuse while maintaining brand consistency and design variety.
  • Implement SEO best practices and conduct keyword research to ensure strong organic search performance.
  • Partner with Product teams to evolve the WordPress editing experience and provide content-focused feedback for platform improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to guide improvements to content defaults, styling, and theme architecture.
  • Work with Customer Experience & Professional Services teams to translate customer needs into content system updates.
  • Define content standards for usability, mobile responsiveness, and performance optimization across all templates.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities; test and iterate on content variations.
  • Stay current with conversion optimization, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and WordPress FSE trends.
  • Document content creation processes and best practices for scalable operations.
  • Work hands-on within the WordPress CMS to develop content that serves as the foundation for member websites (focus on visual systems, not custom plugins).

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Effective communicator across Slack, Loom, async tools, and video calls.
  • Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, whitespace, and modern UI/UX design.
  • Experienced in building pages with visual content editors—WordPress Block Editor.
  • Experience optimizing webpage content for performance: Conversion (forms and phone calls), Core Web Vitals (Pagespeed), SEO, Accessibility.
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS.
  • Experience using Figma (or similar) for design mockups and handoffs.
  • Fluent in color theory and typography.
  • Understands how to design with a specific audience in mind (real estate investors and their leads).
  • Bonus: Experience in real estate, home services, or other trust-critical industries.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a U.S. mailing address.
