About the role
- Review plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions
- Effectively and professionally communicate requirements with customers and internal teams
- Adapt to customer specific requirements
- Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and replacements
- Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers
- Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFQ's for new and/or existing customers
- Coordinate across multiple functions and support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products
- Maintain composure and make decisions in fast-paced situations
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3+ Years of HVAC Industry Experience
- HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC designs – Commercial (preferred)
- Applied Equipment experience a plus
- Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and sense of ownership
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple priorities
- Unwavering customer service orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions and maintain composure in fast-paced situations
- Ability to communicate requirements with customers and internal teams
- Ability to provide HVAC equipment selections and technical support for commercial air conditioning sales
- Ability to respond to RFQs and seek new business opportunities
