About the role

  • The Regional Sales Manager, Aftermarket acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to key accounts and aftermarket clients to generate and grow new revenue by selling CARFAX products.
  • This individual will mainly be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities in the Aftermarket space.
  • Pursue new business opportunities including cold calling and scheduling both virtual and in-person visits with potential clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and target potential customers through market research, lead generation, and networking activities.
  • Achieve KPI’s as assigned by Sales leadership team.
  • Conduct thorough sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our automotive products/services.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high customer engagement that drives account renewals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify areas for growth and recommend sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to provide feedback on market demands and contribute to the development of new products/services.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing regular updates to management on sales performance and market trends.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to travel to clients within your territory.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • 3+ Years of experience in a similar, Sales role
  • Experience in the Automotive industry is considered an asset
  • Proven success in a quota bearing sales acquisition role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team-based, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing an sales territory
