About the role
- Schedule team members and delegate work assignments
- Review and approve timesheets
- Assist with setting prices and ensuring all product is priced correctly
- Prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and work processes
- Manage inventories by monitoring shelves and updating weekly inventory reports
- Unload and put away stock
- Stock grocery department including facing, filling, and organization of all product items
- Serve as acting supervisor and main point of contact
- Enforce food quality throughout dining room and catering events
- Handle customer concerns or complaints and ensure staff provides a positive customer experience
Requirements
- 2-4 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Strong computer skills, knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in retail or grocery industry preferred
- Detail-oriented, patient, and conscientious
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Follow established procedures and processes and make decisions in alignment with the standards of the store
