About the role
- Provide leadership and loan workout expertise to a portfolio of distressed loans
- Manage a portfolio of criticized & distressed commercial loans
- Determine strategies to maximize recoveries and evaluate customer relationships
- Clearly present updates on deal strategy and progress to senior leadership
- Lead communications of complex information to diverse audiences
- Negotiate restructurings and manage team members informally or formally
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare bespoke financial models
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- Over 7 years of relevant commercial loan experience (underwriting, credit, asset management or workout)
- At least 5 years of loan underwriting experience or 5 years of experience in loan restructuring
- MBA or JD degree (preferred)
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial lending with direct experience in loan restructuring/workout (preferred).
