About the role

Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt
Design and implement solutions in container orchestration with Kubernetes (k8s)
Provisioning, implementing and supporting GCP technology stack services including compute engine, cloud storage, Kubernetes engine, Cloud functions, and more
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish best practices for CI/CD and GitOps workflows
Build and enhance automation frameworks to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployments, and automation
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, IaC, and GitOps
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on IaC and Kubernetes engine
Deep understanding of Google cloud platform
Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform/Terra Grunt
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
