About the role

  • Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt
  • Design and implement solutions in container orchestration with Kubernetes (k8s)
  • Provisioning, implementing and supporting GCP technology stack services including compute engine, cloud storage, Kubernetes engine, Cloud functions, and more
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish best practices for CI/CD and GitOps workflows
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployments, and automation
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, IaC, and GitOps
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on IaC and Kubernetes engine
  • Deep understanding of Google cloud platform
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform/Terra Grunt
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
