About the role
- Manage, administer, support and enhance cloud environments
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions for defense and intelligence community clients
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Configure and optimize AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Implement cloud security controls and ensure compliance with DoD requirements
- Automate cloud operations and deployment pipelines
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and costs
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices
- Apply technical expertise for cloud strategy and architecture decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud engineering
- Experience with using Linux operating system and Bash scripting
- Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications
- Knowledge of AWS networking and security services
- Knowledge of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, or Lambda
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- AWS Associate-level Certification such as Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator Associate, or Developer Associate Certification
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II or DoD 8410 CSSP Certification
