💰 $33 - $35 per hour
About the role
- Manage the recruiting process, including job postings, application tracking, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate reference checks and ensure compliance with pre-employment clearances (Live Scan, TB, SB 848).
- Maintain electronic personnel files and HR records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Track and support required employee and volunteer trainings to ensure compliance.
- Assist with various HR projects, internal communications, and updates to the intranet
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience (school or nonprofit preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of California employment law
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (pref Paycom), ATS systems (pref Lever) and Google Workspace
