About the role

  • Lead the identification, development, and execution of business development opportunities in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, clients, investors, and stakeholders in the crypto ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, legal, product, and operations, to align business development projects with company objectives.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of business development projects, from strategy formulation through negotiation, implementation, and execution.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and present business proposals, including partnership models, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, to key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of partnerships and collaborations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for the company.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of business development projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all business development efforts are compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, security regulations in different markets).
  • Create detailed reports on business development activities, track KPIs, and assess project success.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to integrate business development efforts into broader company strategies.
  • Foster innovation by evaluating new product or service offerings in the cryptocurrency space, such as token launches, NFTs, decentralized finance (DeFi) services, and blockchain integration.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in business development, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and the evolving crypto landscape.
  • Proven experience in identifying and executing new business opportunities, negotiating high-level partnerships, and managing complex projects.
  • Familiarity with crypto industry regulations and compliance, including knowledge of KYC, AML, and securities laws.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and provide strategic insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing market conditions.
