About the role
- Provide each guest with excellent customer service, massages and body treatments
- Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude
- Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner
- Administer expert massage and body treatments for various purposes and needs within specified time frames
- Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practices
- Properly care for equipment and products used
- Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and compare services on the menu
- Recommend up-selling services at the spa facility
- Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately
- Commit to continuing education and work unsupervised for extended periods
- Uphold protocols for set-up and cleanliness of treatment rooms and perform extensive in-between client cleaning procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well-organized work area and overall spa appearance
- Be comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager and troubleshoot in a fast paced environment
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Regular attendance is essential
- May be required to work varying schedules, weekends, and holidays
- Must comply with rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facility
- Always maintain a friendly pleasant and professional demeanor and appearance
- Two years of massage therapy experience at a resort or high-level country club
- Proper training and certificates for service provided (must produce certifications upon hire)
- Highschool diploma
- Experience administering treatments to male and female guests in a professional manner
- Understand and follow Blood Born Pathogen procedures
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Nevada Massage Therapy License
- Must be able to stand up to 9 hours per day
- Able to lift 15lbs occasionally
- Able to work entire shift in a Mask
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity
- Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers, online booking platforms, printer, and two way radio.
