Develop and execute committed assets strategy, ensuring alignment with industry trends and competitive positioning
Drive business objectives, efficiency, and growth through organizational structure, resource, and headcount alignment
Lead financial management of the portfolio, including P&L accountability, budgeting, revenue, and expense oversight
Report and communicate financial results, performance metrics, and strategic adjustments to senior leadership and employees
Build and leverage cross-functional relationships across NAST, Product, Tech, and Shared Services to enhance demand, supply, and process improvement
Partner with Commercial, Capacity, and Operations leaders on implementation strategies for new and existing business
Engage with carriers and customers at the executive level, shaping solutions that strengthen value propositions and connectivity
Guide go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, branding, and education efforts to ensure relevance across freight cycles
Provide clear direction, set priorities, and ensure team alignment with strategic objectives
Monitor performance, remove roadblocks, and foster agile, transparent ways of working
Coach and mentor team members and emerging leaders through feedback, one-on-ones, and development planning
Identify skill gaps, encourage continuous learning, and support career growth to build long-term capability
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 8 years of professional leadership experience in customer management and business development, preference to experience in transportation, 3PL or asset marketplace
Minimum 4 years of direct people management experience
Ability to travel up to 40%
