About the role

  • Deliver high-quality copy across the business
  • Execute copy requests from teams across Allica, ensuring everything – whether an email, web page, brochure or social post – is clear, on-brand and in our assured, approachable and no-nonsense tone of voice.
  • Act as a tone of voice guardian, keeping our language consistent, simple and easy to understand.
  • Be the go-to for long-form and storytelling content.
  • Own the production of longer content pieces such as blogs, emails, insight articles and explainers.
  • Understand complex concepts and turn them into clear, structured and engaging narratives that make sense to readers.
  • Bring storytelling craft to product, brand and customer-focused content.
  • Use AI confidently to support drafting, research and efficiencies, while still applying your own writing skills to produce the final output.
  • Review, refine and challenge AI-generated content – ensuring quality, clarity and on-brand tone.
  • Create prompts, workflows and simple tools that help teams produce better drafts when self-serving.
  • Help colleagues understand how to use AI safely and effectively, without replacing craft or judgement.
  • Support creative and GTM delivery.
  • Work closely with the Copy & Content Specialist on go-to-market rollouts, product messaging and campaign support.
  • Champion efficiency and self-service.
  • Build and improve templates, guides and processes that make writing easier for everyone at Allica.
  • Spot opportunities to streamline how content is requested, drafted and delivered.

Requirements

  • Experience writing clear, concise copy for multiple formats (emails, web pages, blogs, social, brochures and more).
  • Strong long-form writing skills, with the ability to understand complex topics and turn them into simple, engaging content.
  • A natural storyteller who can shape ideas, not just write to a tight brief.
  • Excellent grammar, attention to detail and a love of straightforward, jargon-free language.
  • Confident using AI as a supportive tool – able to critique and improve outputs rather than rely on them.
  • Comfortable building prompts, templates or workflows that support good self-service copywriting.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple requests and manage deadlines.
  • A collaborative way of working – open to feedback, confident asking questions and comfortable partnering with designers, marketers and product teams.
  • Curious, proactive and motivated to help build a more efficient copy function across the business.
Benefits
  • Full onboarding support and continued development opportunities
  • Options for flexible working
  • Regular social activities
  • Pension contributions
  • Discretionary bonus scheme
  • Private health cover
