About the role
- Serves as the technical representative for clients, providing technical management of specific client needs, while ensuring client satisfaction;
- Manages assigned field staff in completion of a variety of real estate due diligence services;
- Evaluates and interprets reports to characterize environmental conditions;
- Familiarity with NEPA report preparation and regulations;
- Coordinates and directs field staff assigned to projects on a project-by-project basis;
- Reviews and evaluates their work progress and identifies and resolves problems;
- Prepares report for on-time delivery to client with accompanying correspondence;
- Performs personnel management including technical guidance and leadership;
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field;
- Minimum of five years of related experience;
- In lieu of degree, eight years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record);
- Current AHERA, Asbestos Inspector Certification, or OSHA-40-hour certification preferred;
- Meet the ASTM 1527 definition of an Environmental Professional;
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures;
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, peers, and technical field staff;
- Proficient in operating a computer and familiar with word processing software, spreadsheet software, and project management software.
