About the role

  • Primary point of contact between Bureau Veritas and assigned client base
  • Provide exceptional customer support on a daily basis
  • Develop strong client relationships by providing service excellence to all customers
  • Act as the key liaison between clients, laboratory and Bureau Veritas management to ensure overall satisfaction
  • Respond to all client communications (telephone or email) and redirect to appropriate Bureau Veritas contact
  • Provide clients with technical support on varied sampling projects
  • Document and ensure closure to all client complaints and provide feedback to internal management
  • Stay current with all quality assurance processes
  • Coordinate reports, data, billings and client requests
  • Engage in cross-training and career pathing to support Customer Service Team success

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Certificate, Diploma or Degree in related field (Minimum: Certificate required)
  • 1 year in client facing position (Required)
  • 2-4 years of experience in related field (Preferred)
  • Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Knowledge in Sciences; chemistry considered an asset
  • Experience with Freshdesk considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with lab operations, Business Development Managers and Customer Service team members
  • Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Organized, detail-oriented and focused
  • Represents Bureau Veritas values and is professional at all times
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • May require flexible working hours including overtime and on call
