About the role

  • Act as a client hunter, demonstrating the ability to contribute positively to service sales shortly after onboarding.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key target accounts, client contacts and executive sponsors.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external go-to-market teams, including marketing, pre-sales, inside sales, commercial operations and service delivery.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, including account and territory planning.
  • Identify and develop opportunities within the territory, collaborating with the extended sales team as needed to ensure growth.
  • Build productive relationships with key partner account stakeholders such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Dell, Cisco, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure client objectives are achieved.
  • Stay up to date on product and service features, benefits and selling points to ensure effective communication.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the IT and security services industry, including major competitors, trends and developments.
  • Regular travel for business activities and client meetings will be required.

Requirements

  • Excellent prospecting skills and the ability to apply them consistently to meet targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • More than 7 years of successful experience selling IT/security services, ideally in managed IT services and/or security services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Security, Modern Work and Compliance solutions is a major asset.
  • Proven track record in lead acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Must be able to demonstrate annual revenue generation in excess of $1 million.
  • If selected, you will be required to complete a sales aptitude test.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
