About the role

  • Act as a sales hunter, demonstrating the ability to contribute positively to selling services shortly after onboarding.
  • Develop a trusted advisor status with key target accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Work closely with the internal and external GTM stakeholders like Marketing, Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, Sales Operations, and Service Delivery teams.
  • Forecast and monitor key account metrics, including account and territory planning.
  • Identify and expand opportunities within the territory, collaborating with the broader Sales Team when required, to ensure growth.
  • Forge productive relationships with key personnel in partner accounts, e.g., Microsoft, Fortinet, Dell, Cisco, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer goals are met.
  • Stay updated on product and service features, advantages, benefits, and selling points for effective communication.
  • Maintain an understanding of the IT and Security service landscape, including key competitors, trends, and developments.
  • Regular travel for sales and client engagements will be required.

Requirements

  • Effective new logo sales skills (i.e., hunting) and the ability to consistently apply those skills to achieve quotas and goals.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work with limited direction and oversight.
  • 7+ years' proven success in an outbound IT/security services sales environment, preferably with managed IT and/or security service experience.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Security, Modern Work and Compliance solutions is considered a strong asset.
  • Proven track record in acquiring leads and generating revenue.
  • You must be able to provide proof of hitting yearly revenue targets of $1m+.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
