• Manage full lifecycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer, as a generalist across technical and non technical hiring
• Partner with hiring managers and interviewers to create an inclusive, fair, and enjoyable candidate experience, from sourcing to close

Engineering Manager

• Lead one of our three Platform pods (Green pod), responsible for core backend systems and infrastructure.
• Grow and support engineers, align with staff and leadership on strategy, and help the team deliver reliability, performance, and enablement initiatives.
• Drive speed and quality of delivery by implementing helpful processes.
• Set technical quality standards and ensure proper debt investments while progressing product roadmaps.
• Support career development and equitable hiring, expand and uplevel engineers.
• Build engineering culture of shared success and failure, inclusion, equity, and continuous learning.
• Mentor team through technical challenges and up level problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with sales/success, engineering managers, leadership, and senior/staff engineers to align team work with company-wide goals and impact.

Engineering Manager, Platform

Software Engineer

• Partner with our founders to define and drive Bubble’s architectural decisions, long-term engineering strategy, and technical roadmap.
• Lead efforts to evolve the Bubble language as the default output for AI-generated apps, launch our own powerful AI application features. Scale our hosting platform, improve the performance of user-built applications, and enhance the UX, reliability, and speed of our cloud-hosted visual editor.
• Drive talent acquisition and retention in close collaboration with our People team.

People Operations

• Provide executive support to the two founders and Co-CEOs: manage calendars, meetings, travel, and communications
• Prepare agendas, take notes, and create polished presentation decks
• Coordinate People Operations: onboarding and off-boarding, maintain accurate employee records, support People Team documentation and internal communications
• Recruiting coordination: schedule candidate interviews, manage logistics (virtual setups, room bookings, materials), ensure seamless candidate and interviewer experience

• Establish strong relationships with our biggest and most important customers
• Build best-in-class programs and processes to manage and engage with our top customers
• Iterate on the contract renewal process to retain and grow customers while mitigating churn or contraction

• Share customer feedback and insights with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales and collaborate on opportunities to improve customer outcomes

About the Editor team: As part of the team working on Bubble’s core product, the Bubble Editor, you will help enhance our drag-and-drop interface that empowers users to build and design their applications. Our current focus includes modernizing the developer interface, reimagining the user experience for building out databases, and leveraging AI to provide users with contextual support.
About the role: You will have the opportunity to contribute to both product and technical direction, while working closely with senior engineers and learning from your colleagues. We have a culture that emphasizes trust and autonomy, where teams are given problems to tackle rather than solutions to implement.
In this role, you’ll: Contribute to feature development by writing efficient, readable, well-tested, high-quality code for our core product on a daily basis
Drive initiatives to reduce technical debt to improve the longevity and performance of our codebase for years to come
Conduct peer code reviews, supporting your team in ensuring they are producing high-quality, well-tested code
Act as project lead by creating technical designs and working with product and design to plan the architecture and execution of projects
Mentor other team members and help them grow and develop their technical skills.
