About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards in Looker to track and socialize key HR metrics (e.g., Quality of Hire, Attrition, Diversity, and Talent Pipeline)
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various internal databases and HRIS platforms
  • Partner with the COE to move beyond descriptive reporting. Develop models to identify flight risks, predict future headcount needs, and uncover drivers of high performance
  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of employee engagement and pulse surveys, performing deep-dive sentiment analysis to drive organizational change
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure headcount planning and people strategies are aligned with BrowserStack’s growth goals
  • Act as a custodian of people data. Audit HR systems to ensure the highest levels of data integrity and security

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in an analytical role, with a focus on People Analytics or Business Intelligence
  • Advanced SQL: You must be comfortable writing complex queries and working with relational databases
  • Looker Expertise: Hands-on experience building explores and dashboards in Looker
  • Spreadsheet Mastery: Expert-level skills in Excel/Google Sheets for quick ad-hoc modeling
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling/regression analysis
  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or Business Analytics)
