About the role
- Ensure that the facility is maintained, sanitary, and compliant with city, state, and funder regulations.
- Supervise operations staff and oversight for 24 hour security, fire safety, crisis intervention, and communications.
- Manage on-site human resources functions, including staff hiring, evaluation, supervision, training, and termination
- Plan, develop and implement program policy for the facility
- Participate in fundraising activities and lead or coordinate proposal writing.
- Develop and implement new program components as needed.
- Manage the collection and presentation of clients, administrative, and program data.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget
- Represent agency at interagency meetings
- Perform additional duties assigned by VP of family shelters.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work and LMSW license
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years supervisory and contract management experience
- Experience working with governmental agencies
- Extensive experience working with multi-problem families
