About the role
- Reports to: Business Development Manager
- Starting salary range: £26,521 - £30,000
- Location: London – EC4Y 8EE (Hybrid)
- Contract: Permanent, full-time (31.5 hours per week)
- Job purpose: Opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in business development
- Work alongside the Business Development Manager on new business generation, account management, increasing sponsorship opportunities and converting leads to sales
- Provide outstanding customer service to partners and sponsors and develop own portfolio of accounts and sales prospects
- Administrative responsibility for business development systems and trackers including CRM; support billing and invoicing processes and ensure compliance with ABPI code
- May require travel, overnight stays and weekend work (e.g., at conferences)
Requirements
- Experience of sales and/or business development either directly or in a support function
- Experience of digital systems and tools
- Ability to carry out market research and competitor analysis and report findings
- Proven skills in customer services
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to BSR values
