About the role

  • Develop a deep understanding of client business strategy, solutions, and services; tailor programming and event execution to meet client objectives.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple agency workstreams including Partnership Management, Event Planning & Delivery (including VIP Guest Management), Content & Comms, Global Market engagement, and Measurement.
  • Take a lead role in the planning and rollout of events & hospitality programs globally
  • Oversee supplier management: briefing, contracting, budget control, performance tracking, and on-site supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with client and Formula 1 operational standards, venue regulations, health & safety requirements, and brand guidelines; escalate operational issues for rapid resolution.
  • Take responsibility for overall agency finance in relation to the client’s total budget and management of supplier payments.
  • Manage internal resource to ensure we are servicing the clients efficiently and in line with scopes.
  • Create and present client-facing presentations, proactively managing timelines and decision-making milestones.
  • Support new business pitches and proposal development.
  • Mentor junior team members, embedding a culture of operational excellence and accountability.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years’ experience working on integrated plans for brands with experience leading partnerships with sport and entertainment properties.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver seamless, bespoke end-to-end events across multiple international markets, including post-event reconciliation.
  • Exceptional operational skills in detailed event planning, project management, and cross-functional communication. On-site live event experience with hands-on delivery and problem-solving capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of sponsorship activation within the wider marketing and commercial context.
  • Exceptional client management and relationship-building skills; highly sensitive to cross-cultural nuances and emotional intelligence in high-pressure environments.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and capable of navigating ambiguity in fast-paced live-event settings.
  • Experience in Formula 1 or NFL is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with tech brands is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with a guest or asset management system (e.g. Sponsorworks) would be beneficial.
  • Ability to adhere to corporate processes, policies, and brand guidelines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and to travel domestically and internationally; international experience and knowledge of a foreign language are a plus.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
