About the role

  • This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the early team members to join the Bright New York team.
  • The Senior Account Manager, Events will work across two of our key clients to activate their partnerships with a focus on Events & Hospitality.
  • You will be expected to add real value to our client’s business.
  • You will plan, create and activate a events and experiences designed for B2B & B2C clients and projects.
  • You will also have the chance to work with the London team to support the activation of global projects in North America.
  • The position is based in New York, USA with domestic & international travel.
  • You will be required to come into the office 3 days a week to be with the team.
  • A key task will be ensuring that you are always one step ahead of the client.
  • You will need to have a proactive client mindset, anticipating client needs, adding strategic value and ensuring a consistently positive client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with client and Formula 1 operational standards, venue regulations, health & safety requirements, and brand guidelines; escalate operational issues for rapid resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including transport, hotels, and venues, ensuring smooth coordination and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years’ experience in global VIP events and experiential programs (sports experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to create and deliver seamless, bespoke end-to-end experiences across multiple international markets, including post-event reconciliation.
  • Exceptional operational skills in detailed event planning, project management, and cross-functional communication.
  • Understanding of sponsorship activation within the wider marketing and commercial context.
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills; highly sensitive to cross-cultural nuances and emotional intelligence in high-pressure environments.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and capable of navigating ambiguity in fast-paced live-event settings.
  • Experience in Formula 1 or other sports industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • On-site live-event experience with hands-on delivery and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to adhere to corporate processes, policies, and brand guidelines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel domestically and internationally; international experience and knowledge of a foreign language are a plus.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project is advantageous
