About the role

  • Own product positioning and messaging for the Bright Machines portfolio, from core software platforms to AI-driven automation and robotics-enabled factory systems.
  • Define and articulate the Bright Machines story, including the vision for AI- and Robotics-enabled factories, edge manufacturing, and the future of industrial production.
  • Translate product strategy into Go-to-Market Execution, working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment from roadmap to launch.
  • Lead product launches, including messaging frameworks, narratives, sales enablement materials, and external communications.
  • Enable the sales team with clear value propositions, competitive positioning, customer use cases, and differentiated messaging tailored to target segments.
  • Partner with PR and content teams (including external agencies) to ensure consistent, compelling external storytelling and thought leadership.
  • Engage directly with customers and industry leaders to validate messaging, refine positioning, and surface new market insights.
  • Act as a thought leader, helping shape internal and external conversations around AI, robotics, automation, and the future of manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Product Marketing leadership (Director, Group PMM, or equivalent), ideally in manufacturing technology, robotics, automation, industrial software, AI infrastructure, or adjacent domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical products into clear, compelling market narratives.
  • Strong understanding of hardware + software systems, including industrial automation, robotics, or factory systems.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
  • Track record of owning positioning, messaging, and product launches for complex, technical products.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong qualitative and quantitative market insight skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with executive-level presence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
