About the role
- Take ownership of designing, testing, and building new backend solutions
- Extend and maintain existing systems
- Create scalable, reliable infrastructure that powers real impact for customers.
- Explore how technologies like large language models can enhance product and developer experience.
- Work on Bridgit Bench, which is built with services written in C# (.NET Core) and Go
- Handle REST and GraphQL APIs
- Run on AWS and operate in Kubernetes, with infrastructure managed as code using Terraform
- Leverage serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and automate CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- Proven backend expertise - You have hands-on experience building high-quality software and a strong command of C#, Go, or another modern backend language.
- System design chops - You’re skilled in architecting and building scalable, distributed systems, and can clearly articulate your design decisions.
- Data-savvy mindset - You’ve worked extensively with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Bonus points if you’ve spent time with PostgreSQL or Redis.
- Product-driven passion - You’re excited to build and ship real SaaS products used by real customers. You’ve actually deployed and maintained services in production environments.
- Curious and forward-thinking – You stay current with the latest technologies and development practices, and you’re especially interested in the potential of AI and LLMs.
- Collaborative by nature – You believe in learning from others, sharing what you know, and growing stronger as a team.
