About the role
- Act as the tech lead, focusing on technical projects and directly contributing to code for the first 6 months
- Spend at least 25% of your time being a strong individual contributor, driving the engineering quality and velocity of the team
- Build high-performance services using Golang and gRPC
- Aiding in architectural decisions and fostering a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes
- Define strategic product roadmaps and make impacts on Coinbase’s international expansion
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Mentor and coach team members on system design techniques and coding standards
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experienced architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
- Passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together
