About the role
- Review incoming faxes and referrals within a 24-hour window to determine clinical appropriateness and safety for our programs.
- Serve as the primary decision-maker on medical eligibility for new referrals.
- Monitor licensing and credentialing notifications to ensure compliance with state-specific regulations.
Requirements
- Clinical Background: Ability to assess clinical appropriateness for participation in our program and collaborate effectively with Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, and Nurse Practitioners.
- Operations Expertise: Strong background in healthcare operations, clinic management, or health-tech project management.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Must be a self-starter who enjoys "triaging" problems in real-time.
- Exceptional Organization: Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and departmental needs simultaneously.
- Tech Literacy: High level of comfort with digital health stacks.
- Healthcare Knowledge: A solid understanding of the US healthcare system, including basic knowledge of billing cycles and provider credentialing, is highly preferred.
