About the role
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of quality engineering practices for financial technology solutions
- Maintain test frameworks to ensure efficient testing across the enterprise
- Work on improving automation frameworks for scalable test automation
- Help define and advocate for testing standards, automation strategies, and best practices in the SDLC
- Support efforts to address performance bottlenecks and quality gaps
- Contribute to the development of tools for managing test data across environments to support testing
- Integrate testing tools and frameworks into the CI/CD pipeline
- Develop and maintain automated test environments and data solutions to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with quality engineering, product, and business teams on best practices in test-driven development (TDD) and automation
- Provide guidance to junior engineers on adopting automation practices
- Develop and maintain tools for performance, load, and stress testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area
- 2+ years of work experience in a related field such as Software Engineering, DevSecOps, or Quality Engineering
- 5+ years of work experience in a related field such as Software Engineering, DevSecOps, or Quality Engineering (preferred)
- Proficiency in Agile Methodology
- Proficient in Scripting Languages
- Experience in Test Automation
- Knowledge in Test Data Management
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes
- Understanding of Cloud Platforms
- Version Control (Git) expertise
- Monitoring Tools familiarity
- Debug Tools knowledge
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
