About the role
- Prioritise and fulfil resource requests across all departments, ensuring projects have the right support.
- Source (freelance) talent from our wider internal Brave Bison network when needed, or externally, negotiating freelance rates and availability.
- Advise senior leadership on skills gaps and resourcing challenges, proposing solutions proactively.
- Collaborate with Client Services, Production, Strategy, and Creative teams to assign work based on skill, availability, and client requirements.
- Plan ahead with Business Directors and Heads of Department and the Central Brave Bison operations team, to manage workflow pipelines and prevent team overload.
- Scrutinise post/production briefs to ensure they’re complete and clear, chasing missing details before work begins.
- Resource manage, organise and track all people and project requirements and bookings.
- Structure teams efficiently, assigning Leads, mid-weight support, and juniors where possible for collaborative delivery.
- Organise, own and manage resource meetings to confirm priorities, resource allocation, and brief readiness.
- Monitor capacity and utilisation, forecasting short, medium, and long-term needs through analysis of data in tools (Certinia / PowerBI).
- Servicing oversight working closely with delivery teams and finance on tracking under and over servicing.
- Resolve resource conflicts and escalate issues where necessary to maintain client delivery.
- Champion process improvements and maintain accurate reporting (utilisation, capacity, timesheets).
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience as a Resource Manager in a social or creative agency.
- Solutions-driven with a proactive mindset, always thinking two steps ahead.
- Commercially aware, able to prioritise work that drives impact.
- Strong communicator and negotiator, confident working with senior stakeholders.
- Organised and adaptable, balancing process with flexibility to get the job done.
- Preferred experience coordinating with offshore teams, though experience working across multiple offices or business units is also highly valuable.
- Passionate about creative excellence and enabling teams to do their best work.
- Team player, you think “we,” not “I.”
- Tech-savvy with resource management tools (Salesforce/ Certinia / PowerBI knowledge is a bonus).
