About the role

  • Complete the design and development of personal lines contracts
  • Maintain forms and perform system reviews and testing to locate inconsistencies in formatting and compliance
  • QA testing of product output to ensure filed forms and rates/rules are working as intended
  • Complete filings and respond to any regulatory inquiries on the contract
  • Serve as resident expert on the contract terms for product lines
  • Review competitors' offerings and market needs to inform contract design
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, and IT teams
  • Write detailed documentation for contract updates and QA test cases

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Personal Lines insurance and / or QA experience
  • Experience in writing or interpreting insurance contracts and / or QA testing of insurance products
  • Familiarity with policy language interpretation and ability to compare coverage differences across contracts
  • Experience in contract drafting, revision, or compliance review in an insurance context
  • Experience reviewing insurance products for accuracy and compliance before deployment
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking
  • Experience conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing) or regression testing for insurance systems
  • Ability to analyze system output, policy issuance, and rating results for discrepancies
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, and IT teams
  • Ability to write detailed documentation for contract updates and QA test cases
  • Strong communication skills to report findings, issues, and suggested improvements
  • Interest in owning insurance contract development for personal lines
  • Experience in insurance contract development and state regulatory environments
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience in products, sales, or claims
  • Technical knowledge and system experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States (application asks this question)
