About the role

  • Role summary: Solutions Architect guiding clients through full lifecycle data platform modernization, focused on Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog
  • Design cloud-native architectures for analytics and generative AI readiness, ensuring scalability, governance, and business impact
  • Lead large-scale migrations from legacy ETL/ELT (Informatica, etc.) into modern, cloud-native environments
  • Design and deliver ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and analytics using Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks
  • Integrate Gen AI–powered solutions, develop prototypes/POCs, and produce solution blueprints
  • Mentor and lead technical teams, partner with stakeholders, and contribute to presales and thought leadership

Requirements

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks (Azure preferred), including pipelines, notebooks/jobs, performance optimization, and cluster management
  • Demonstrated experience with data migrations: Informatica, legacy ETL/ELT, or governance modernization (e.g., Unity Catalog)
  • Solid foundation in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing design patterns
  • Strong expertise in Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure Storage)
  • Experience leading architectural discussions and mentoring cross-disciplinary technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical audiences—including C-suite stakeholders
  • Growth mindset and passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI and cloud-native data strategies
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) (preferred)
  • Prior contributions to presales, technical writing, or community knowledge sharing (preferred)
  • Background in data governance, security, and FinOps in Azure (preferred)
  • Exposure to Gen AI frameworks, ML model integration, or AI-driven analytics (preferred)
