Function as the lead team member for clients' active eCommerce business
Serve as an expert on eCommerce best practices and industry trends to guide business opportunities for expansion and evolution
Lead solutions and propose recommendations leveraging knowledge of eCommerce technology including platforms, platform extensions, marketplaces, etc.
Partner with Growth teams and participate in pre-sales, project discovery and delivery activities
Estimate, plan, and implement eCommerce solutions for clients that solve business issues using the latest platform and ecosystem tools
Effectively communicate with the client, understand their requirements and produce architecture diagrams
Work with integrated Agile teams, collaborating with designers, project managers, and product owners to plan and estimate projects
Recommend necessary changes in the existing e-commerce application and work for its efficient functioning, revenue generation, and cost savings
Coordinate with web developers, eCommerce marketing team, and eCommerce analysts to ensure completion and functionality of the application
Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
Identify, assess, and report security risks and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4-year degree in CS/Engineering
5+ years of experience working on one or more of the following platforms: Fabric commerce, Commerce tools, Adobe Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Detailed understanding of eCommerce tools and solutions
D2C eCommerce experience required; B2B experience is a plus
Platform and Architecture technical skills and knowledge of emerging technologies/platforms
In-depth understanding of service-oriented architecture
Experience migrating legacy platforms with new technologies
Replatforming expertise
Experience with order management systems/platforms and optimizing such platforms
Familiarity with web technologies such as social media, personalization and behavioral targeting
Experience with (or awareness of) user experience design, information architecture and Agile web development processes
Experience working in an agency environment and being client-facing
Expert organizational and management skills
Willingness to work on client-facing, team-based projects and collaborate with designers, project managers, and product owners
