About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies for the US industrial solutions market.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new market opportunities, partnerships, and diverse customer segments to drive revenue growth.
- Expand BorgWarner’s presence in new and existing markets, with a focus on increasing customer diversity and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and product development.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, KPIs, and new business metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred), Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development and sales within the industrial sector, specifically power generation and/or data centers.
- Proven track record of market expansion, customer diversity initiatives, and strategic sales leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics as they relate to program and business performance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
