About the role
- Leads and manages the operational functions within a branch.
- Responsible for the expenses for the areas supervised.
- Provides input to branch management on formulation of the branch budget and monitors adherence to budgetary objectives.
- Resolves SAP software issues, ensures all required checklists are completed in a timely manner, removes billing blocks.
- Develops and reviews proposals for purchasing equipment, oversees all inventory modifications.
- Provides leadership during the annual inventory process, and supports branch purchasing, product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, pricing development and other related functions.
Requirements
- Minimum of a four-year business/trade degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience.
- Prior supervisory experience with a minimum of four years’ prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred.
- Technical ability to understand electrical systems with a minimum of three-years of prior electrical distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English preferred.
- Prefer strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Internet, Email and SAP software.
