About the role

  • Oversees daily operations, staff, and performance within the distribution center
  • Leads and motivates warehouse teams to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals
  • Ensures compliance with company and OSHA standards
  • Responsible for facility and equipment maintenance
  • Monitors key performance metrics, and drives process improvements
  • Works closely with internal branches and third-party logistics partners to resolve order fulfillment issues
  • Informs proper departments within the distribution center and Branch Support Center of stock outs, inventory discrepancies, and other problems or concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree or the equivalent in work experience
  • Prior management experience with a minimum of 5 years of prior warehouse distribution experience preferred with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain logistics preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
  • Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), internet, email, and SAP software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience in the electrical supply industry is a plus.
