About the role

  • You will partner with teams and leaders to evolve how we plan, align, and learn, from quarterly planning to real-time feedback loops, strengthening clarity, coordination, and effectiveness, including responsible adoption of AI tools.
  • As a member of the Agile Coaching team, you will work with Software Engineering and Product Management teams; listen and explore challenges to evolve best practices; define and document Product & Engineering practices and standards; develop and teach agile training classes and workshops; guide and educate teams; instill lean thinking and continuous improvement mindsets.
  • The goal is to take a data-driven approach to determine areas of improvement for Product & Engineering teams; coach multiple teams and environments to mature technical capabilities and agile practices; mentor teams and managers to become self-sufficient; facilitate communication and collaboration within and among teams to align objectives.
  • Bonus: demonstrated coaching impact and collaboration across teams; focus on building strong business partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of increasing responsibility in an Agile Practitioner role (Scrum Master to Agile Coach) in a software development environment.
  • Demonstrated success coaching multiple teams in a large organization or enterprise environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with team members and leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with high levels of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with, influence successfully, and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.
  • Demonstrate the use of sound coaching plans to address team and individual needs; embody effective teaching/mentoring /coaching skills; demonstrate the ability to coach in the moment.
  • Industry-recognized Scrum Professional, ScrumMaster, or Agile Coaching certification(s).
  • Experience using Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence or similar software.
  • Apptio/IBM TargetProcess experience a plus.
