About the role
- Gather, analyze, and define business and system requirements for the customer portal
- Explore and evaluate current systems and define system requirements
- Translate clients' needs into new high-quality portal features and chaperone features through the SDLC to delivery
- Interact with users to understand needs and track additional requirements and features
- Work with the development team to bring features to production
- Perform standard testing and analyze changes by testing programs
- Support and train users on new portal features
- Ensure deadlines and requirements are met and stay current on market and technical developments
- Become subject-matter-expert for assigned portal features/areas
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst
- Experienced in customer or B2B portal development, testing and documentation
- Experience in property and casualty insurance (not healthcare insurance)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills – able to explain technical details to various audiences
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant area
- Understanding of Azure DevOps or Jira to manage requirements in the Scrum process
- Must reside in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania or Texas; relocation not an option
