About the role
- Oversees and directs staff, formulating and implementing patient care policies and standards of care for patients
- Prepares Commission on Cancer Accreditation (CoC) American College of Radiology (ACR) surveys
- Plans, implements, and evaluates designated oncology services and administrative operations
- Oversees budgetary parameters and daily productivity metrics
- Establishes and maintains patient care protocols and standards, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develops and implements quality improvement, safety, and patient care programs
- Supervises and evaluates clinical staff
- Participates in policy development, long-term planning, and project implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (must obtain within 5 years of hire) (required)
- Registered Nurse in the state of practice or State License in Radiation Oncology (preferred)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Radiation Oncology Certification/Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(Preferred)
- CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (required)
- 2 years’ leadership experience (preferred)
- 2 years’ Oncology or Acute Care Experience (required)
- Radiation Oncology experience (preferred)
