About the role
- Develop and maintain electrical wire harness detail, assembly and installation designs for advanced Commercial Aircraft.
- Integrate the functional system requirements into an efficient logical and physical wire harness architecture throughout the airplane.
- Assist with engineering design disposition on discrepancies.
- Collaborate closely with partners on the factory floor to ensure designs can be built efficiently and safely.
- Collect data to support the development of statements of work.
- Assist in reviewing functional and physical requirements used in the development of integrated designs and system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelors degree in field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace or Material Science is preferred.
- Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
- Experience using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS and/or Capital Logic.
