Develop and maintain electrical wire harness detail, assembly and installation designs for advanced Commercial Aircraft.
Integrate the functional system requirements into an efficient logical and physical wire harness architecture throughout the airplane.
Assist with engineering design disposition on discrepancies.
Collaborate closely with partners on the factory floor to ensure designs can be built efficiently and safely.
Collect data to support the development of statements of work.
Assist in reviewing functional and physical requirements used in the development of integrated designs and system architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelors degree in field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace or Material Science is preferred.
Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
Experience using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS and/or Capital Logic.
