About the role
- Developing and maintaining electrical wire harness detail, assembly and installation designs for commercial aircraft
- Assisting with engineering design disposition on discrepancies
- Collaborating with partners on the factory floor
- Learning and following detailed processes, specifications and procedures
- Collecting data to support the development of statements of work
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace or Material Science is preferred
- Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design
- Experience using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS and/or Capital Logic
