Develop and maintain electrical wire harness detail, assembly and installation designs for our diverse portfolio of advanced Commercial Aircraft.
Develop, integrate and maintain critical electrical cable/wire harness detail, assembly and installation designs.
Integrating functional system requirements into an efficient logical and physical wire harness architecture throughout the airplane.
Develop and analyze engineering design disposition on discrepancies.
Collaborate with partners on the factory floor to ensure designs can be built efficiently and safely.
Follow and look for improvements to documented processes, specifications and procedures that support safe and quality design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Participate in technical reviews of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
3+ years of experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
3+ years of experience using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS and/or Capital Logic (preferred).
Work Authorization: The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” is required.
