About the role
- Lead the Propulsion and Windows M&P Engineering team and Production Support teams (Everett, Renton)
- Manage, develop and motivate a team of roughly 15-20 M&P engineers
- Collaborate with Program, Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Engineering leaders on top priorities, RIO management, and technology insertions
- Ensure the M&P team meets commitments on design development, design reviews, liaison support, qualifications, and supply chain activities
- Manage and execute to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate the health of the business
- Inspire and empower the team through collaboration, communication, and caring
- Build and nurture an inclusive culture by seeking different perspectives and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders
- Ensure an emotionally safe work environment for proactively raising safety, quality and schedule concerns
- Work 100% onsite at the listed location with approximately 20% travel
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing industries
- Experience in Materials & Process Engineering (Preferred)
- Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills and working with executive leaders (Preferred)
- Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work (Preferred)
- Must meet export control compliance requirements: a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
